REMUS, Mich.— Bandit is excited to introduce a new drum chipper to the 12” diameter capacity market. The new Model 1090XP is the compact drum-style chipper industry professionals have been waiting for.
Featuring a 15-3/8” x 17” chipper opening and our 37” diameter drum, the Bandit Model 1090XP will dominate other drum chippers in its class. While Bandit previously did not offer a unit to match the competition in this size category, the 1090XP looks to surpass the competition by offering the power and productivity of a Bandit drum chipper with the compact, lightweight features of a 12” capacity unit. Weighing in between 5,300- and 6,300-lbs. on a single 7,000 lb. Nev-R-Lube Torflex axle, the 1090XP can be equipped with engines ranging from 65- to 140-horsepower.
The 1090XP upstages its competitors by offering the oversized diameter drum, a feature common on Bandit drum chippers but not found elsewhere. This drum is a full 15” larger than many of its competitors, maximizing its chipping and fuel efficiency.
Bandit is also releasing two models of Limited Edition chippers in January 2008 as part of their year-long 25th Anniversary celebration. The Model 250XP and 1590XP brush chippers will be available with a 25th Anniversary Deluxe Option package and special decals, and are available with special financing options and rebates.
